Rant#1
Ok. So people always say that freely stating your opinion is perfectly fine and that’s what shoold be done and all that good stuff. Then they all go, “That was so rude.” Or, “Why did you say that? No one cares.” Or even, you get freakin’ bashed on for doing so. It’s so damn annoying because there is nothing wrong with being open with your thoughts! So why the complaints about doing so? It’s understandable that there are moments when certain things should be unsaid, but just stating how you feel about something or someone, isn’t that how us as humans work??? What’s the world without a single opinion? The world would be so gloomy and gray.
Honestly, when people say something about how opinion shouldn’t be said like that or others should keep their mouth shut, that’s their opinions as well. Why the heck would you go off when someone makes a statement about how they feel on a certain topic?

I wish we said “fancy” in America. As in, “I fancy you.” It’s such a more agreeable term than “I have a crush on you.” What’s a crush? Like, I AM A BOA CONSTRICTOR AND I AM GOING TO IMMOBILIZE YOU WITH MY MISPLACED AND OBSESSIVE AFFECTION. “I fancy you” is like, you’re so shiny and glittery and I just want to put you on a shelf and look at you for a while ‘cause you’re fancy.

My dentist once told me that letting go is like pulling a tooth. When it was pulled out, you’re relieved, but how many times does your tongue run itself over the spot where the tooth once was? Probably a hundred times a day. Just because it wasn’t hurting you doesn’t mean you didn’t notice it. It leaves a gap and sometimes you see yourself missing it terribly. It’s going to take a while, but it takes time. Should you have kept the tooth? No, because it was causing you so much pain. Therefore, move on and let go.
